I love Roald Dahl, and I wanted to do a few illustrations based on his work. I think it suits me. I had this simple idea for a scene from his book, James And The Giant Peach, and fan/comic convention attendees have shown me that not only is the story still an unforgettable classic, but my depiction connects with them.

Since its debut in the west coast comic convention/fan convention circuit, this piece has proven very popular with fans.

Original art done in August 2022 on 300lb Arches cold press watercolor paper with ink, watercolor, and acryla gouache. Printed on 11×17 Red River Aurora Natural White 64lb fine art paper using Canon ChromaLife100+ long-lasting dye inks.
