Inspired by the Chinese Dragon Gate myth, this piece focuses on transformation and rebirth, symbolized respectively by carp scales and lotus flowers. And, of course, the female, the ultimate symbol of birth and life.

Print is upscaled slightly for a full bleed print.

September 2022. Ink and watercolor on 11×15 300lb cold press Moulin Du Roy watercolor paper. Printed on 11×17 Red River Aurora Natural White 64lb fine art paper using Canon ChromaLife100+ long-lasting dye inks.
