Inspired by a writer friend’s penchant for crazy crime stories, and drawn in the throes of The Refused’s 2019 album, War Music, the Attack Attack! catalog, and then Nirvana’s Nevermind, I came up with Melanie Maim. She won’t hesitate before she shoots, but she’s pretty tired of how easy it is to kill some fools. She might just need to switch to hand-to-hand kills, no matter the situation. Just for the challenge.
