I love Roald Dahl, and I wanted to do a few illustrations based on his work. I think it suits me. I had this simple idea for a scene from his book, James And The Giant Peach<\/em>, and fan\/comic convention attendees have shown me that not only is the story still an unforgettable classic, but my depiction connects with them. <\/p>\n

Since its debut in the west coast comic convention\/fan convention circuit, this piece has proven very popular with fans.<\/p>\n

Original art done in August 2022 on 300lb Arches cold press watercolor paper with ink, watercolor, and acryla gouache. Printed on 11×17 Red River Aurora Natural White 64lb fine art paper using Canon ChromaLife100+ long-lasting dye inks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
