Buffy The Vampire Slayer, by Phillip Ginn
From Inktober 2015, this is a fan piece of Joss Whedon’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I enjoyed doing this one because I got to create a stencil for a spray effect, mimicking the way vampires would turn to dust as Buffy stabbed them with her wooden stake. I also got to throw in references to a couple major Whedon characters that died in battle.

Inktober was created in 2009 by artist Jake Parker. His goal was to challenge himself to improve his inking skills and work on developing better drawing habits. Since then, many illustrators around the world participate in Inktober, drawing as many ink drawings as they can – the standard being one a day – throughout October, and they share their work via social media.
