Astro Boy is a boy robot, invented by Dr. Boyton after his son, Toby, died in a car accident. Boyton loses him on a cruise ship, stolen by the maniacal ringmaster of a robot circus! He’s rescued by defender-of-robot-rights Dr. Elefun, who helps Astro Boy to use his powers against evil and to fit in with the humans around him.
