Another Velvet Goat comic.
I wanted to do a couple things with this one. First, I wanted philosophize about why we do anything. Hence the title. Second, due to the nature of what the characters are explaining to the reader, I wanted to break the “fourth wall” without actually breaking it.
My friend, Jeff Elden, created a one-page response. I’ve posted it at the end of the strip; unfortunately, he hasn’t scanned it yet, so it’s a photo… so don’t mind the thumb.
